Following a recent conference on Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) and Carbon Capture and Utilization (CCU), the government is preparing a document on the deployment of CCUS in Luxembourg, which is expected to be published in the next few weeks, and which will be followed by a public consultation.
In this context, FEDIL has drawn up a position on the subject so that the expectations and needs of the industry can be taken into account right from the drafting stage. This position highlights the main issues and our recommendations for the effective implementation of CCUS technologies, reconciling energy transition and industrial competitiveness.
