Mamer, 20 May 2021: <\/strong>HITEC Luxembourg has been a signatory of the Charte de la Diversit\u00e9 L\u00ebtzebuerg<\/em> since October 2020. For the Diversity Day on 20 May 2021, the Minister for Family and Integration, Corinne Cahen, honored the opening of the day with her presence. HITEC Luxembourg has set itself an ambitious program.<\/p>\n

The day began with an introduction by Yves Elsen, Managing Partner & CEO, who emphasized in his speech: \u201cDiversity is one of the most important strengths of our company! The diversity of our teams allows us to constantly develop our products and services and to offer innovative solutions to our customers.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

At the beginning of the day Tom Hecker, president of Rosa L\u00ebtzebuerg, gave a speech about diversity and LGBTIQ+ topics that should be on the agenda of every employer. Tom Hecker quotes the HITEC Luxembourg Diversity Campaign 2020: \u201cInnovation knows no gender, entrepreneurship knows no color, engineering knows no sexual orientation, creativity knows no age and technology knows no repression. These are great analogies between the world of work and diversity and I would like to congratulate HITEC Luxembourg for its commitment as a signatory of the <\/em>Charte de la Diversit\u00e9 L\u00ebtzebuerg.\u201d <\/em><\/p>\n

After the speeches, the representatives of the Diversity Committee as well as the employees of HITEC Luxembourg participated in a workshop organized by Rosa L\u00ebtzebuerg, partly face-to-face and partly via videoconference, around the following topic: \u201cLGBTIQ+ & Diversity – Opportunities for companies\u201d.<\/em> During this workshop topics such as recruitment, vocabulary and internal behavior were discussed.<\/p>\n

In the afternoon ASTI, a non-governmental organization, held a video conference for HITEC Luxembourg employees that addressed the following topic: \u201cThe history of migration in Luxembourg, an overview of the current situation and future challenges for Luxembourg.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Philippe Osch, Senior Partner & CTO, concludes: \u201cIt is important for us to show with initiatives like the Diversity Day our openness and that diversity is strongly embedded in the values of HITEC Luxembourg.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
