The website has been co-developed with the wedo.lu team of the F\u00e9d\u00e9ration des Artisans.<\/p>\n<p>The platform, which functions like an evolving directory with a secure access for users, aims to collect all information regarding the production and supply of the following personal protective equipment (PPE):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Surgical masks and FFP2-type masks<\/li>\n<li>Non-certified protective masks<\/li>\n<li>Visors<\/li>\n<li>Plastic protective screens<\/li>\n<li>Aprons<\/li>\n<li>Disinfectants<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Information is available about raw materials, finished and semi-finished products, as well as skills and services.<\/p>\n<p>In the \u201cSupply\u201d section, self-employed professionals, artisans, SMEs, large enterprises and research institutes will be able to submit and display their offers. In the \u201cRequest\u201d section, Luxembourg municipalities, associations, administrations and public institutions, as well as companies and professionals with requests will be able to post their specific needs for personal protective equipment.<\/p>\n<p>Companies producing protective equipment will also be able to launch \u201ccalls for proposals\u201d in order to inform potential customers of all the parameters of their production capacities.<\/p>\n<p>The matching between supply and demand will be managed directly between the partners upon common agreement, outside the platform.<\/p>\n<p>The EPI-COVID19.lu platform has been set up by Luxinnovation under the aegis of the government in the context of the COVID-19 crisis, with support from the F\u00e9d\u00e9ration des Artisans, FEDIL, the Chamber of Commerce, the Chamber of Skilled Trades and the Conf\u00e9d\u00e9ration luxembourgeoise du Commerce.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Contacts:<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Paul Zenners<\/strong> | Conseiller en communication, Minist\u00e8re de l\u2019\u00c9conomie | paul.zenners@eco.etat.lu | T +352 247-74126<br \/>\n<strong>Marco Eischen<\/strong> | Director Marketing &amp; Communication, Luxinnovation | marco.eischen@luxinnovation.lu | T +352 43 62 63-665<\/p>\n<p><em>Luxinnovation, the national innovation agency, contributes to the economic development of Luxembourg by fostering innovation, fuelling international growth and attracting foreign direct investment.
