The NIS 2.0 directive not only aims at ensuring a high common level of cybersecurity of networks and information systems across Europe, but at strengthening the resilience of the European Union’s IT infrastructures against cyberattacks as well. (Full text of the Directive HERE<\/a>). It is important to note that with this text, not only CISOs or IT Managers are liable for cybersecurity breaches. Management bodies are directly accountable.<\/p>\n

FEDIL believes it is essential that entities from the covered sectors come together to meet, discuss, share best practices and answer questions to understand the requirements and implications of this directive and to ensure its effective implementation.<\/p>\n

Therefore, FEDIL is pleased to invite you to the kick-off meeting of the \u201cFEDIL NIS 2.0 Forum\u201d, which will be held at the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce, room F35-F36 (Ground floor), on May 2nd, 2024, from 10:00 to 12:00 (Welcome coffee from 9:30).<\/p>\n

This forum aims to gather companies to discuss the implications and implementation of the directive and to foster collaboration among various sectors involved and to contribute significantly to Luxembourg\u2019s ecosystem\u2019s collective understanding and efforts towards enhancing cybersecurity and resilience across the sectors.<\/p>\n

We are pleased to invite you to the kick-off meeting of the forum, which will be held at the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce, room F35-F36 (Ground floor), on May 2nd, 2024, from 10:00 to 12:00 (Welcome coffee from 9:30). This meeting marks the beginning of our initiative and will set the tone for our collaboration moving forward.<\/p>\n

As you are aware, the bill of law PL8364 was introduced to the Chamber of Deputies in March. Please find it attached for your reference.<\/p>\n

During this meeting, we aim to gather your feedback on the text. Should you have any concerns or questions regarding how it aligns with the directive or provides flexibility to regulators to adopt national legislation accordingly, we encourage you to share them. Your input will be conveyed to the relevant stakeholders.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, we will discuss the requirements entities must meet to comply with the directive.<\/p>\n
