{"id":18619,"date":"2020-05-22T15:44:08","date_gmt":"2020-05-22T13:44:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fedil.lu\/?post_type=member-news&#038;p=18619"},"modified":"2020-05-22T15:47:15","modified_gmt":"2020-05-22T13:47:15","slug":"new-fiec-president-and-steering-committee-elected-for-the-mandate-2020-2022","status":"publish","type":"member-news","link":"https:\/\/fedil.lu\/fr\/member-news\/new-fiec-president-and-steering-committee-elected-for-the-mandate-2020-2022\/","title":{"rendered":"New FIEC President and Steering Committee elected for the mandate 2020-2022"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Further to the FIEC General Assembly meeting held on 22\/05\/2020, the German contractor <strong>Thomas<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>BAUER is the new President of the European Construction Industry Federation<\/strong>, at the head of the newly elected Steering Committee.<\/p>\n<p>Prof. Thomas BAUER succeeds the Norwegian contractor Kjetil Tonning, whose term of office has come to its statutory end.<\/p>\n<p>Bauer has, for more than 20 years, represented the interests of the construction industry in leading positions both nationally and at EU level as Vice-President and President of the German Construction Industry Federation HDB, and since 2016 as Vice-President of FIEC and President of its Economic and Legal Commission.<\/p>\n<p>He is currently Chairman of the Supervisory Board of BAUER AG (Schrobenhausen, Germany).
