Luxembourg, 27 August 2020 <\/em>\u2013 On Thursday, Cargolux welcomed home its freighter LX-VCF that now sports a surgical facemask on its iconic nose as it received a brand-new paint job following a scheduled maintenance check in Taipei.<\/p>\n

By adding the tagline \u201cnot without my mask\u201d to the special livery, the airline embraces the Luxembourg government\u2019s campaign to promote the use of face masks in the current environment, an initiative that is supported both by the Grand-Duchy and its national cargo carrier. To mark the occasion, Cargolux was honored to receive the visit of Luxembourg\u2019s Prime Minister Xavier Bettel and Deputy Prime Minister Fran\u00e7ois Bausch at the company\u2019s headquarters to view the aircraft. They also took the time to talk to employees and express their gratitude for the tireless work they achieved during this challenging period.<\/p>\n

In addition to underlining Cargolux\u2019s support for the governmental engagement, it also serves to reflect the airline\u2019s commitment to the fight against COVID-19. Engaged since the outset of the pandemic, Cargolux has leveraged its long-standing expertise to provide transport solutions for PPE shipments.<\/p>\n
