FEDIL has submitted its formal response to the public consultation on the Creos Gas and Hydrogen Scenario Report.
FEDIL welcomes the publication of the Gas and Hydrogen Scenario Report and supports Creos‘ decision to assess several possible development pathways rather than relying on a single demand forecast.
While providing a useful and transparent basis for discussion, the report represents an important contribution to Luxembourg’s future network planning. Nevertheless, FEDIL considers that additional work is required before the scenarios can constitute a sufficiently robust basis for determining the timing, capacity and financing of hydrogen infrastructure.
