Francesco is the Head of European Affairs at FEDIL, where he started working in March 2022. He holds a Master’s degree in law from the University of Florence, Italy, and obtained a bilingual Master’s (LLM) in EU law from the University of Luxembourg. Before joining FEDIL, Francesco worked in important public and private institutions, including the Tuscany Region Liaison Office to the EU, Amazon, the European Court of Justice, and the European Investment Bank. Through these experiences, Francesco has become an expert in various aspects of EU law and policies.
At FEDIL, Francesco leads the European Office and serves as the Permanent Delegate of the federation to Business Europe. In this capacity, he develops and implements the advocacy strategy on EU affairs to communicate members’ positions and messages to EU interlocutors. His responsibilities include monitoring and analysing EU policies and legislations relevant to FEDIL’s members, keeping our members informed about these issues, and lobbying European legislators and policymakers in areas of interest to our members. Francesco acts as the liaison between FEDIL and BusinessEurope, as well as between FEDIL and Business at OECD (BIAC).
Francesco is fluent in French, English, Spanish, and Italian, and is currently learning Luxembourgish (level A2).
